KUEHNE & NAGEL WINS MEDICAL LOGISTICS CONTRACT
Fresenius Medical Care, a provider of dialysis products and services, has signed a five-year contract with Kuehne & Nagel to operate its new distribution center in Gernsheim, Germany.
The center, which will begin operating in April, will serve as Fresenius Medical Care Germany's warehouse and distribution center for Europe, Africa, the Mideast and Asia. The center will provide about 15,000 square meters of storage, capable of handling 32,000 pallets.
Services Kuehne & Nagel will provide include management of inbound and outbound flow of goods, warehousing and commissioning, including the corresponding administration.
