EVERGREEN APPOINTS NEW MEDITERRANEAN AGENTS
Evergreen Marine Corp. (Taiwan) has announced the appointment of three new agents in the eastern Mediterranean and Adriatic region.
The carrier said that their appointment is aimed at enhancing its services in the region.
The new agents are: Tradeways d.o.o, in Koper, Slovenia; Phoenician Maritime Agency, in Beirut, Lebanon; and Oriental Shipping Ltd. in Haifa, Israel.
Evergreen serves ports in the eastern Mediterranean and Adriatic mainly by transshipment, over its hub in Taranto, southern Italy.
The carrier said that it plans to develop further feeder links to serve additional eastern Mediterranean and Adriatic ports.
