Schenker builds logistics terminal outside Paris
Schenker is completing the construction of a logistics terminal in the greater Paris region of Gennevilliers.
Schenker already has four facilities on the site from which it provides land transport and sea freight services as well as the headquarters of its French subsidiary Joyau.
The new terminal is being built directly next to the existing facilities. When complete, the freight transshipment area will cover 11,000 square meters and an additional 6,000 square meters will be devoted to logistics activities. The new facility will be home to warehousing and value-added services as well as being designed to handle hazardous materials.
The new terminal is expected to completed mid-April.
