NIT League, Cameron Group, American Shipper team up for trade seminar
The National Industrial Transportation League, along with The Cameron Group and American Shipper magazine, will hold a one-day seminar in Washington June 21 to provide shippers with a better understanding of how to use national trade policies to their logistics advantage.
The seminar, “The Impact of Free Trade on Logistics,” is the first of its type offered by the 97-year-old Arlington, Va.-based NIT League.
The NIT League said the seminar will cover the latest developments in both domestic and overseas tariffs and duties, and show how they may be applied in the global movement of cargo.
“Attendees will learn first hand from experts on how this knowledge may produce significant cost savings for logistics budgets,” the NIT League said.
The Cameron Group was founded by Donald F. Cameron, a 40-year logistics industry veteran, and long-time logistics and international trade policies manager for Bose Corp.
American Shipper and the daily Shippers’ NewsWire provide professionals in the global supply chain management industry with news, analysis and advice. The publication has offices in Washington, New York, London and Jacksonville, Fla.
