Melbridge ceases operations
Rotterdam-based Melbridge Container Line, the provider of a Europe/Cuba service, has withdrawn from the trade and ceased trading as a liner carrier.
Established in 1994, Melbridge offered direct sailings between Rotterdam, Bilbao and Havana. The carrier also took space from Melfi Marine between Mexico and Cuba.
A spokesman for Melbridge would not comment on the reason behind the decision to stop trading.
