CSX shuffles senior labor relations and network operations management, while Metro Ports appoints director of northern California and the Pacific Northwest.
Lisa Mancini, executive vice president and chief administrative officer, will retire from CSX on July 1. She joined the railroad in 2003.
Meanwhile, CSX said Cressie Brown, currently vice president of labor relations, will become senior vice president and chief administrative officer, and Kathleen Brandt, currently head of the railroad’s information technology subsidiary, will become senior vice president and chief information officer. Zachary M. Jones, who is currently assistant vice president of employee services, will become vice president of labor relations.
In addition, CSX said Mike Smith, vice president of network operations, will become vice president of PTC (positive train control) and strategic implementation, while Bob Frulla will replace Smith as vice president of network operations. In addition, Jermaine Swafford, who managed CSX’s southern region, will become vice president of the northern region and Chicago Division Manager John Bradley will become vice president of the southern region. Robert Holtz, assistant division manager in Chicago, has been named division manager.
All of the changes are effective June 1.
Metro Ports has appointed Geir-Eilif Kalhagen director of Northern California and Pacific Northwest. Kalhagen joined Metro Ports on May 23 and will focus on business development, acquisitions and growth in the region. Previous positions held by Kalhagen over the past 30 years include chief executive officer at the Port of Longview, Wash.; general manager of Tidal Transport and Trading; Star Shipping manager of operations for Southeast Asia and the U.S. West Coast; and Stevedoring Services of America operations management.
