NEDLLOYD SELLS MAMMOET TO VAN SEUMEREN

   Royal Nedlloyd said Tuesday it intends to sell the Mammoet Group, the heavy-lift carrier, to the Dutch holding company Van Seumeren for 111 million euro.

   The transaction will be implemented retroactive to Jan. 1.

   The Italian company Decafin SpA will also sell its 33-percent interest in the joint venture Mammoet Decalift International.

   The new company will operate as part of the Van Seumeren Group under the Mammoet logo and brand name.

   Frans van Seumeren will be chief executive officer and Fritz van Riet, managing director of Mammoet, will be the chief operating officer of the new company.

   Mammoet has an annual turnover of 300 million euro.
