Yang Ming names first of three new 5,500-TEU ships

   Yang Ming Marine Transport has named the “YM Wealth,” a 5,500-TEU containership, at the Kaohsiung shipyard of China Shipbuilding Corp.

   The vessel is the first of three sister ships, with the other two due to be delivered by July this year.

   Yang Ming said it will employ the “YM Wealth” on the Far East/U.S. West Coast route.
