Finnair adds cargo lane to Swedish city
Finnair Cargo said Friday it will provide oversized freight capacity for its North Atlantic route after a two-month hiatus through an interline agreement with Emirates SkyCargo.
The new New York/Gothenburg/Dubai route will begin Sept. 13.
Finnair used Evergreen International Airlines' scheduled cargo charter on the New York/Gothenburg/Helsinki lane until June, according to Dimo Riihimaki, Finnair's director of marketing for cargo. Under the new arrangement, Finnair will no longer be committed to the full deck space, he said.
