MacAndrews and OPDR will acquire 4,000 new 40-foot pallet wide high cube containers.
CMA CGM’s European short-sea subsidiaries MacAndrews and OPDR will take delivery of 4,000 new 40-foot pallet wide high cube containers, OPDR said.
Up to 30 euro-pallets can be stowed inside one 40-foot pallet wide high cube container, five more than a standard 40-foot container. In addition, they have a higher payload than a standard 40-foot container, enabling them to carry heavier cargo.
OPDR of Germany joined the CMA CGM Group in the summer of 2015 as a subsidiary of U.K.-based MacAndrews, which joined the CMA CGM Group in 2002.
