A.N. DERINGER PICKS G-LOG FOR MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
A.N. Deringer, a provider of forwarding, customs brokerage and logistics services, has contracted with G-Log, a provider of transportation and logistics software, for software to support Deringer’s new transportation management subsidiary.
Deringer will use G-Log’s GC3 software to consolidate the movement of multiple customers’ freight on one application platform, thereby managing “all aspects of the logistics life cycle in a single system,” said Wayne R. Burl, president and chief executive officer, A.N. Deringer.
G-Log’s technology “has allowed us to launch our new logistics service much sooner than planned,” Burl said.
Deringer’s subsidiary will provide “total supply chain visibility and freight optimization,” said Mitchell Weseley, chief executive officer of G-Log, which is based in Shelton, Conn.
