TSK Line to start Asia/Indian subcontinent Hercules service
NYK’s intra-Asian subsidiary Tokyo Senpaku Kaisha Ltd. (TSK Line) in July will merge two of its services to create a new Far East/Indian subcontinent loop.
The new Hercules service (HLS) will include ports on TSK’s soon ending Japan/Indonesia Southern-Cross Service and Straits/India/Pakistan South Asia Express.
The HLS will use six vessels of 1,500 to 1,800 TEUs. The vessel “ACX Plumeria” will start the loop when it departs Tokyo July 5.
The port rotation of the HLS will be: Tokyo, Shimizu, Omaezaki, Nagoya, Kobe, Laem Chabang, Singapore, Karachi, Nhava Sheva, Colombo, Penang, Singapore, Laem Chabang, Keelung, and back to Tokyo.
