ROAR acquires Integra Logistics

Buffalo-based subsidiary of Rich food company extends reach into Texas.

Buffalo, N.Y.-based ROAR Logistics announced it has acquired Integra Logistics Services, based in Houston.
“With this acquisition, ROAR further extends its reach across North America. The acquisition strategically positions ROAR with offices in eight major markets and over 120 associates,” the company said. In addition to its office in Buffalo, ROAR has offices in Atlanta, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Pekin, Ill.
Integra will integrate its corporate headquarters and technology center in Houston and full-service sales and support operations in Dallas and Chicago into the ROAR network. Fred Beasley, who founded Integra with Mark Parrott in 2003, has joined ROAR as chief commercial officer.
“We have always shared a mutual appreciation for each other’s companies and business approaches,” said Robert Rich III, president of ROAR Logistics. “Integra and ROAR share a similar culture and set of values. Fred and I both believe that our customers will benefit greatly from the combined experience of all our associates.”
ROAR is a subsidiary of Rich Products Corporation, a family-owned food company that sells products in 100 countries around the world and has annual sales of $3.7 billion.
