KURSIU LINIJA LAUNCHES WEEKLY U.K./BALTIC FEEDER
Kursiu Linija, a Lithuanian-based liner operator, has started a fixed-day weekly service linking the Port of Ipswich's West Bank Container Terminal with the Baltic ports of Riga, Klaipeda and Kaliningrad.
The company is deploying three container vessels for the service, the 'Trenden,' 'Godewind,' and 'Polarwind.'
The service will primarily handle base chemicals and consumer products to the Baltic states, and timber-based products such as furniture, flooring and toys destined for U.K. retailers.
