COMMERCE ONE APPOINTS JONES COO
Commerce One, based in Pleasanton, Calif., a provider of software services for electronic marketplaces, has named Dennis H. Jones chief operating officer and vice chairman of its board of directors.
Jones, 48, was executive vice president of information technology and chief information officer for FedEx Corp.
He will report to Mark Hoffman, Commerce One’s chief executive officer and chairman.
