The refrigerated warehousing provider completed the expansion of its Chicago Consolidation Center.
Hanson Logistics, a specialist in refrigerated storage, has completed phase four of its expansion project at the company’s Chicago Consolidation Center.
The cold storage facility grew by 85,000-square-feet and added 12,000 pallet positions of frozen storage. The expansion also included the addition of 14 more swing-in doors to keep loading time and energy loss at a minimum.
Overall capacity at Hanson’s Chicago Consolidation Center is now 16,500,000 cubic feet. The facility consists of 48,000 90-inch high pallet positions and 50 dock doors.
The Chicago Consolidation Center is located in Northwest Indiana, adjacent to the I-80, I-94 and I-65 interchanges.
