Rickmers, Apollo buy 6 ships from Hamburg Süd

   A joint venture between Rickmers Group and Apollo Global Management has purchased six Panamax container vessels from Hamburg Süd” for $176 million.
   The ships, have been chartered back to Hamburg Süd for a period of three years. The 2007-built Bahai and its sister ships have nominal capacities of 3,630 TEUs, which includes 844 reefer plugs, according to the Hamburg Süd website.
