CHINA SHIPPING TO TAKE DELIVERY SIX POST-PANAMAX CONTAINERSHIPS
China Shipping Group, the parent company of China Shipping Container Lines, said that construction has started on six 5,618-TEU containerships at shipyards located in Dalian and Hudong-Zhonghua.
Construction of two smaller ships of 4,100-TEU capacity has also started at the Hudong-Zhonghua shipyard.
China Shipping Group currently has eight 5,618-TEU post-Panamax ships and four 4,100-TEU vessels on order from the two Chinese shipyards.
