FESCO NEW ZEALAND EXPRESS LINE INCREASES BUNKER SURCHARGE
Fesco New Zeland Express Line said it will increase its bunker surcharge in the Australasia service to $100 per 20-foot container and $200 per 40-footer, effective April 15.
The shipping line said the increases are due to bunker costs reaching record levels.
FESCO Lines Hong Kong Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Far Eastern Shipping Co. serves as general agent for FNZEL, which provides fixed weekly sailing from Southern China, Far East ports via Hong Kong to Australia.
