MAERSK SEALAND SWITCHES U.K. CALL ON EUROPE/SOUTH AMERICA LINK
Maersk Sealand has switched the U.K. port call on its weekly Europe/Mediterranean/East Coast South America “L-Class” service from Felixstowe to Thamesport. Maersk Sealand’s sister company Safmarine Container Lines takes space on the service.
The “L-Class” service makes its first call at Thamesport when the vessel “Luna Maersk” departs on April 23.
The service uses six ships of 3,700 TEUs and has a revised port rotation of Rotterdam, Thamesport, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Le Havre, Vigo, Algeciras, Sepetiba, Santos, Paranagua, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio Grande, Santos, Pecem, Algeciras, Rotterdam, Thamesport, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Le Havre and Vigo.
