KLM, ALITALIA WILL BREAK-UP BY SEPTEMBER
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Alitalia say they will continue joint services until August 31 to minimize disruption to customers.
In September, the two airlines will cease all code-sharing. Each airline is currently re-establishing independent travel offices and cargo sales operations in all countries.
All joint communications will be phased out and the two airlines will continue using their own brand names. Aircraft schedules will not change before August 31.
