“K” LINE ORDERS 13TH 5,500-TEU SHIP

“K” LINE ORDERS 13TH 5,500-TEU SHIP

   “K” Line has ordered a 13th 5500-TEU post-Panamax containership.

   The Japanese line said that the ship will be built by the Imabari Shipbuilding shipyard of Japan, and will be delivered in September 2002.

   This vessel will be a sister ship to the 12 vessels already ordered by “K” Line, of which several have already been delivered.
