MOL MERGES HONG KONG LOGISTICS SUBSIDIARIES
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines will merge three affiliated logistics companies in Hong Kong into a single company named MOL Logistics (H.K.) Ltd.,
effective Jan. 1.
The three subsidiaries concerned are: M.O. Air International (H.K.) Ltd., an air and ocean freight forwarder; Hong Kong Logistics Co. Ltd., a warehousing and ocean freight forwarding company; and Japan Express (H.K.) Ltd., an ocean freight forwarding and international household removals company.
The merged company will provide services covering Hong Kong and South China.
Shigeki Kamaga, a director of MOL Logistics (Japan), will be the managing director of MOL Logistics (H.K.).
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines said the Hong Kong-based company will become the ninth company in its international network renamed to adopt the “MOL Logistics” brand name.
