COSCO SWITCHES PORT TO BUSAN ON PACIFIC LINK

China Ocean Shipping Co., along with alliance partners Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha and Yangming Marine, is switching direct calls on the “China Northeast CEN” transpacific service, from Kobe in Japan to Busan in Korea.

The first scheduled sailing at Busan will be made by the vessel “Honor River” on June 16.

The fixed-day weekly service deploys six COSCO ships with an average capacity of 2,000 TEUs. The revised service rotation is Vancouver, B.C.; Long Beach; Xingang; Dalian; Qingdao; Busan; Vancouver and Long Beach.

“K” Line does not offer the Vancouver port call on this service.

Details of the revised service, including transit times between the ports, are now available on-line from ComPairSchedules at www.compairschedules.com.
