Port of Palm Beach posts new rail tariff
The Port of Palm Beach has updated its rail tariff, posting an updated series of rail-related charges ranging from terminal switching charges to storage and rail car removals.
The charges for rail-related port services vary depending on whether freight is inbound or outbound, and on annual rail car volumes for a customer.
The Port of Palm Beach is one of the few Florida ports with active on-port rail activities for breakbulk freight and intermodal containers.
The changes in the rail tariff followed a public hearing in April. The complete new rail tariff is posted on the port Web site at http://www.portofpalmbeach.com.
