U.S. Bank hires Schneider freight payment veteran
U.S. Bank has named Brian Eschmann, former director of business development at Schneider Payment Services, as vice president of sales for its PowerTrack freight payment and audit division.
U.S. Bank acquired Schneider Payment Services in July and absorbed about 200 specialists in handling manual and outsourced freight analysis and collection. The merger made U.S. Bank PowerTrack one of the top two freight payment service companies in the world with more than $12 billion worth of freight payment documents processed each year.
PowerTrack is a fully automated system that compares bills of lading with carrier invoices to make sure the correct price has been applied for each shipment.
Eschmann will be responsible for combining the sales efforts of the two companies.
U.S. Bancorp is the sixth-largest U.S. bank holding company.
