MOL LOGISTICS ESTABLISHES ASIAN SUBSIDIARIES

   MOL Logistics, a unit of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd., and M.O. Air System Inc. (MOA) have renamed subsidiaries in Malaysia and the Philippines and has established a new subsidiary in Australia.

   MOA's Malaysian subsidiary, M.O. Air International (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., founded in 1994, is now called MOL Logistics (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.

   In December, MOA teamed with MOL's Philippines-based Cougar Logistics (Philippines) Inc. to expand its services. Cougar is being renamed MOL Logistics Philippines Inc.

   The new Australian subsidiary will be called MOL Logistics (Australia) Pty. Ltd.

   The subsidiaries provide air and sea freight forwarding, warehousing and trucking.

   The shift in brand names is part of MOL's strategy to strengthen group-wide the MOL name. The company has already established MOL Logistics companies in the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Germany.
