TRAILER BRIDGE WILL REPORT IMPROVED RESULTS IN 2ND QUARTER
Trailer Bridge, Inc., the U.S. mainland/Puerto Rico liner operator, said that it expects to report a “significant improvement” in its results for the second quarter just ended.
The improved results will be driven by increased shipping volume and a more efficient cost structure, the company said. Revenues are expected to be 5 percent higher than in the second quarter of 1999, it added.
For the 1999 second quarter, Trailer Bridge had reported revenues of $22,686,000 and a net loss of $399,000, or $.04 per share.
The company will report its second quarter and six-month results on July 25.
