COAC to meet in Buffalo
The Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations for Customs and Border Protection (COAC) will hold its next quarterly meeting Sept. 10, at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Buffalo, N.Y.
The industry-led group usually meets in Washington, but is taking a field trip to see Customs operations on the northern border. The agenda for the meeting includes discussion of maritime transportation security policy, advance cargo information, a World Customs Organization security regime, status of the new Automated Commercial Environment for filing customs entries, problems with the Automated Commercial System currently in use and agriculture inspection issues.
