German sales agent first to participate in GF-X booking system
Capital International is the first general sales agent (GSA) to join Global Freight Exchange, an online cargo reservation system used by several large airlines and freight forwarders, GF-X officials confirmed.
Frankfurt, Germany-based Capital said it has started accepting electronic bookings on behalf of U.S. Airways for goods originating in Germany to all major destinations. Capital will add other European origins in the coming weeks. The general sales agent also plans to reserve space through GF-X on several other airlines, including Cyprus Airways, Hong Kong Dragon Airlines, SriLankan Cargo and Tunisair.
