UNITED ALLIANCE ALTERS ROTATIONS OF THREE EAST/WEST SERVICES
Starting this month, Hanjin Shipping and its subsidiary Senator Lines are making minor changes to the port rotations of three of their weekly services connecting Asia, North America and Europe within the United Alliance.
Firstly, Shanghai is replacing Kaohsiung as a direct call on the Asia-Mediterranean-America service. The first call at Shanghai will be made by the “Washington Senator” on Sept. 19. Kaohsiung will now be served by feeder services.
The revised port rotation for the AMA service is now New York, Norfolk, Savannah, Valencia, Valencia, La Spezia, Gioia Tauro, Jeddah, Khor Fakkan, Singapore, Busan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang, Gioia Tauro, La Spezia, Fos, Valencia, New York, Norfolk and Savannah.
Second, for a period between October of this year and February 2002, Seatlle is replacing Oakland as the second U.S. West Coast port on the Pacific-South-Pendulum 2 service. The “Portugal Senator” will make the first call on the service at Seattle on Oct. 5.
The revised port rotation for the PS-PDM 2 service is Long Beach, Seattle, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Singapore, Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Colombo, Port Kelang, Hong Kong, Busan, Osaka, Tokyo, Long Beach and Seattle.
Third, an eastbound call at Miami is being added to the All Water Express-Pendulum service. The “Moscow Senator” will make the maiden voyage at Miami when it calls on November 3.
The revised rotation of the AWE-PDM service will be New York, N.Y.; Norfolk, Va.; Savannah, Ga,; Manzanillo, Panama; Manzanillo, Mexico; Long Beach, Calif.; Busan; Yantian; Hong Kong; Kaohsiung; Busan; Manzanillo, Mexico; Manzanillo, Panama; Savannah; Norfolk; New York; Felixstowe; Bremerhaven; Rotterdam; Le Havre; New York; Norfolk; Savannah; Manzanillo, Panama; Manzanillo, Mexico; and Long Beach.
