OLD DOMINION FREIGHT NAMES PLEMMONS
Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., a less-than-truckload national carrier based in Thomasville, N.C., has appointed Gregory B. Plemmons as vice president of OD Global.
Previously, Plemmons was Old Dominion Freight’s vice president of global services.
John Yowell, the company’s executive vice president, said on Monday that Plemmons “will be responsible for each of the product offerings associated with OD Global Services.”
That includes cross-border service to and from Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, Alaska and Hawaii. OD Global also comprises ocean container drayage, as well as LCL and container load services worldwide.
