APL, LYKES, TMM AND OTHER CARRIERS UPGRADE GULF EXPRESS SERVICE TO
WEEKLY
Commencing May 15, APL, Crowley Liner Services, Compania Trasatlantic Espanola, Lykes Lines, Nordana Line, TMG-Grancolombiana and TMM Lines are upgrading to fixed-day weekly their joint U.S. Gulf/Mexico/Caribbean service.
Previously, the service operated two vessels with sailings every 10 days.
Three 960-TEU vessels will now be employed, with a rotation of Houston, Altamira, Veracruz, Puerto Limon, Manzanillo (Panama), Cartagena, Barranquilla (fortnightly), Puerto Cabello, La Guaira (fortnightly), Cartagena and back to Houston.
