FMC reviews 19 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 19 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier applications from Freight Logistics International, El Segundo, Calif. (Gabriel de Godoy, manager); Fulltrans Global Forwarding, Tustin, Calif. (Merlinda V. Tan, chief operating officer); and J.D. Brokers & Forwarding Co., Doral, Fla. (Joel D. La Paz, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Ara USA, Seattle, Wash. (Raquel Runas, vice president); Conavenca Freight Forwarder, Miami, Fla. (Manuel D. Ordaz, vice president); Compass Freight Brokers, Miami, Fla. (Jesus Chinea, president); Global Cargo Solutions, Ontario, Calif. (Mitchell Chang, president); Grupo KML, Doral, Fla. (Kelineth Chirinos, president); Impex Worldwide, Sayreville, N.J. (Chikeziri A. Onyekwere, director); Inter Oceans Freight, Weston, Fla. (Luis M. Cabrera Daza, managing member); and New Beginning CG Corp., Miami, Fla. (Carlos L. Gonzalez, president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Arven Services, Woodbridge, Va. (Edward Brown, president); CDP Trading Group, Boynton Beach. Fla. (Claudia Dias, president); Cole International USA, Blaine, Wash. (Michael Miller, vice president); and Niagara Distributors, Hollywood, Fla. (Pasquale R. Lucci, chief executive officer). 
   In addition, the agency received applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Fast Track Worldwide Logistics, Miami, Fla. (Maria Lugo, director); Lion Exhibition Freight, Locust Grove, Ga. (Jerry B. Hopper, president); Modaltrade USA, Miami, Fla. (Jaime F. Urenda, treasurer); and Specialty Freight Services, Essington, Pa. (Lorraine W. Buchanan, director of international operations).
