U.S.-Singapore free trade agreement takes effect
President Bush signed an authorization Tuesday for the U.S.-Singapore free trade agreement to move forward.
The agreement was signed between the two countries on May 6.
The U.S. Commerce Department will create an office to carry out the specifics of the agreement, the Bush administration said.
