The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 16 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Login Logistics USA Corp., Miami (Camila Pantano, secretary); and TNR Logistics (USA), Jamaica, N.Y. (Segundo Q. Castro, manager).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Pactrans Air & Sea, Bensenville, Ill. (Kitty Y. Pon, president); SyncTrans International, Schaumburg, Ill. (Caglar Aktas, president); and U.S.A. Poultry, Import and Export Corp., Miami (Yazmine F. Musa, secretary).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from JCI Logistics, Geneva, Ill. (Paul Curry, president); and Pre Clearance Customhouse Brokers and Freight Forwarders, Valley Stream, N.Y. (Savatore J. Stile II, president).
In addition, the agency received license applications for a change to qualifying individual from Bestway Ocean Express Transport, Newark, N.J. (Pablo P. Gonzalez, vice president); Cagney Global Logistics, Aurora, Colo. (Bonnie M. Chacon, assistant vice president for international); CaroTrans International, Clark, N.J. (John Hepworth, chief executive officer); Gutierrez Courier & Cargo, Doral, Fla. (Claudia Velasquez, secretary); NFI Global, Cherry Hill, N.J. (Stephen Browne, director of operations); Sea Bridge Container Lines, Alexandria, Va. (Kevin A. Falvo, vice president); Superior Brokerage Services, St. Paul, Minn. (Paul A. Johnson, executive vice president); and Vin Worldwide Transport, Iselin, N.J. (Tervin M. Aranha, president); and for a license transfer to Host Agency from T. Parker Host, Norfolk, Va. (David F. Host, executive vice president).
Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
