TRANSPORTATION LOGISTICS EXPANDS TO SOUTH AFRICA
Transportation Logistics International, Inc. (TLI), based in East Orange, N.J., a global logistics provider, has announced the formation of a joint venture in South Africa.
The new company, which is owned by Transportation Logistics International and PicPack Logistics Pte., will operate under the auspices and name of Translogistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of TLI.
The joint venture, headquartered in Johannesburg, will have subsidiaries in Capetown, Port Elizabeth, and Durban. Mike Margolies, chairman and'chief executive officer of TLI, predicted'a revenue stream of $30 million in the new company’s first three years of operation.
