KUEHNE & NAGEL BUILDS LOGISTICS CENTER NEAR STUTTGART
Kuehne & Nagel is building a DM50 million ($26 million) logistics centre in Gaertringen, near Stuttgart, Germany.
The new facility, due to be completed in August, will replace the company’s previous logistics hub in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf.
The new terminal will have 60 truck docking gates and a warehousing and cargo handling area of more than 30,000 square meters. It will employ about 300 staff.
The facility will handle goods for Philip Morris, Hewlett-Packard and other customers.
