COSCO AND CHINESE COAL SHIPPER SIGN PARTNERSHIP
The China Ocean Shipping Co. group and China National Coal Industry have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
State-owned China National Coal Industry is active in coal production, trade, utilization and mining machinery.
Under their partnership, the two companies “will maximize the use of their resources, and will kick off a mechanism of regular communication and discussion,” COSCO said. They will expand existing cooperation in maritime transport to other related fields. Based on dry bulk logistics business, they will establish trade and transport entities dealing with coal trade, transport, storage and distribution services.
