FMC RESCHEDULES HEARING ON EXCLUSIVE TUG ARRANGEMENTS IN FLORIDA
The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has rescheduled its hearings on exclusive tug arrangements in Florida for Oct. 31-Nov. 1.
The agency originally planned to hold the hearings on Sept. 19-20, but canceled'due to the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.
The rescheduled meeting will be held at the Quality Inn in Cocoa Beach, Fla. Witnesses include officials from the Canaveral Port Authority, Port Canaveral Pilots Association and other maritime industry interests.
