BURGESS NAMED PRESIDENT, CEO OF ALLIED AUTOMOTIVE GROUP
William “Bill” R. Burgess has been named president and chief executive officer of Allied Automotive Group, a unit of Allied Holdings Inc.
Burgess, 49, has nearly 30 years of executive management experience in logistics, distribution and transportation, serving as president of Lykes Brothers in Florida, and as president of Lykes Transport, the corporation's transportation unit.
Allied Holdings is the largest company in North America specializing in delivery of new and used vehicles.
