MTMC PLANS SECOND CARGO HANDLING RATE CUT
Ryder System Inc., a Miami-based provider of transportation management and logistics solutions, has sold one of its Brazilian subsidiaries, Translor Veiculos Ltda., to Axis Sinimbu Logistica Automotiva Ltda., an affiliate of Ryder in Brazil.
“Exiting auto hauling allows Ryder to strengthen its logistics and supply chain solutions business in Brazil,” said Gregory T. Swienton, Ryder’s president and chief executive officer.
Neither company disclosed terms of the transaction.
