GATX names managing director, GATX Rail Europe
'GATX Rail Corp. and GATX Capital Corp. have appointed Rainer Sandow as senior vice president and managing director of GATX Rail Europe GmbH.
''''Sandow will be responsible for developing GATX's European rail businesses and coordinate with its European rail partners, which include Ahaus Alstatter Eisenbahn and Kesselwagen Vermietgesellschaft mbH. He will be based in Zurich.
''''He has nearly 30 years of experience working for transportation organizations. He was a member of the executive board of Kuehne & Nagel Management AG and previously served as managing director for Ryder Deutschland and Lehnkering Montain.
