CHEMCONNECT TEAMS WITH OPTIMUM LOGISTICS
ChemConnect, an industry-specific business-to-business exchange for chemical companies, has teamed with Optimum Logistics, a Connecticut-based developer of Internet-based logistics software, to give ChemConnect users the ability to arrange for transportation and warehousing and to track shipments.
Optimum is building a logistics system called TransLink designed to automate the transportation order process, simplifies tracking and tracing,
and proactively alert shippers to delivery problems.
ChemConnect runs the World Chemical Exchange, a neutral Internet market, where chemical companies can negotiate pricing and complete sales.
