U.S. HOUSE VOTES HIGHER APPROPRIATION FOR FMC
The U.S. House of Representatives has voted to increase the Federal Maritime
Commission’s budget for the next two years.
The authorization, which still requires Senate action, would be $15,685,000 for fiscal
2000 and $16,312,00 for fiscal 2001. The Administration requested $15 million for fiscal
2000.
