CMA CGM, CSAV ENTER SPACE AGREEMENT

   CMA CGM, of Marseilles, France, and Compania Sud Americana de Vapores, of Valparraiso, Chile,    have entered a space charter agreement under which the French carrier will purchase space from CSAV in the trade between the U.S. East Coast and Puerto Rico and ports in the Caribbean, Colombia, Panama, Ecuador, Peru and Chile.

   CSAV will provide CMA CGM space for 75 TEUs per vessel voyage from June 1 to Sept. 1. After that date CSAV will provide space for 100 TEUs per voyage. CSAV will also provide up to 12 reefer plugs per vessel voyage.
