Prior to this ban, Delta said it had a “strict acceptance policy,” which called for “absolute compliance with all government regulations regarding protected species.”
Meanwhile, the airline said it will also review its acceptance policies of other hunting trophies with government agencies and other organizations supporting legal shipments.
Delta joins a host of other international airlines, such as British Airways, Air France, KLM, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Emirates, Iberia Airlines, IAG Cargo and Qantas, which have announced similar bans over the past year.
