CBP seizes 1,200 counterfeit Tiffany bracelets

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Miami International Airport found the counterfeit bracelets in a shipment from China.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized 1,200 counterfeit Tiffany bracelets at the Miami International Airport, which arrived in a shipment from China.
Combined, the bracelets would have had a total estimated manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $2.85 million if they were genuine.
“CBP officers suspected the jewelry to be counterfeit because the bracelets did not appear to be of the quality consistent with the products normally manufactured by the trademark holders,” CBP said.
