GIPSA TO HOLD GRAIN INSPECTION ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration plans to hold its Grain Inspection Advisory Committee meeting in Portland, Ore., May 16-17.
Topics at the meeting will include GIPSA’s financial status, reauthorization, biotechnology, research and information systems strategies.
The committee provides advice to the GIPSA administrator on the delivery of grain inspection and weighing services to U.S. grain exporters under the U.S. Grain Standards Act.
