COSCO, “K” LINE, YANGMING EXTEND TRANSATLANTIC VSA

   China Ocean Shipping Co., “K” Line and Yangming Marine Transport have extended their transatlantic vessel-sharing agreement for another year, until Oct. 31, 2001.

   The three Asian carriers operate, together, two U.S./northern Europe weekly services and one Mediterranean/U.S. weekly loop.

   All three carriers operate as non-conference carriers in the transatlantic trade.
